OWTNM 2009
The XVIII th International Workshop on Optical Waveguide Theory and Numerical Modelling took place in Jena, Germany, on April 17-18, 2009.
Since 1992 when the workshop was held first, it is a forum for lively debates, intended to bring forward new ideas in the field of theoretical optics and related numerical techniques. Basic physics and novel applications, artificially structured materials and new devices, elegant math and efficient numerics to tackle Maxwell's equations - these are the continuously evolving subjects which are discussed in a traditionally open and relaxed atmosphere.
