A note on ASP's reaction to the Covid-19 pandemic (updated 17 October 2020 )

Dear ASP students,

we have together succeded in our first online semester in summer 2020. From our school's point of view, it was taken care of that all students were able to proceed with their study program and earn all necessary ECs by finally writing the exams and also performing the internships. At least 28 modules had been offered online during the past semester. We thank you all for your efforts and perseverance to cope with this difficult and completely new situation.

Now, it is time to look into the future: On November 2, 2020, the new M.Sc. Photonics semester will start on-campus for those who are in Jena, and online for everybody else. On-campus teaching is our preferred solution on the long run, but exceptionally in 2020/21, the exams be also be delivered online. We will find an individual solution for anybody who cannot arrive in Jena on time. Please get in contact with We hope to welcome many of you here in Jena as soon as possible!

We will continue to update this section during the next days - please stay tuned.
