We'll talk to you about what you can do in your free time alongside your studies. What activities are on offer inside and outside the university? The WelcomeCafé team will provide tips and answer questions on the subject.

 

Das WelcomeCafé

Das WelcomeCafé für neue Studierende hat vom 29.09.-17.10.2025, Montag-Freitag von 15-17 Uhr im Internationalen CentrumExternal link geöffnet (am 03.10.2024 wegen des Feiertags geschlossen) Es befindet sich am Johannisplatz 26External link.

Das WelcomeCafé-Team unterstützt gern bei Fragen zur Einschreibung (Immatrikulation). Im WelcomeCafé trifft man andere neue Studierende und erhält Tipps zum Studieren und Leben in Jena. Unsere Workshops informieren zu den Themen Wohnungssuche, Visumsantrag, Studienorganisation und vielem anderem.

The WelcomeCafé

The Welcome Café for new students opens Mon-Fri 15:00-17:00 between 29/09 - 17/10/2025 (except 3 October) at the Internationalen CentrumExternal link (Johannisplatz 26External link).

The WelcomeCafé team will also be happy to help you with questions about enrolment (matriculation). At the WelcomeCafé you can meet other new students and get tips on studying and living in Jena. Our workshops provide information on finding accommodation, applying for a visa, organising your studies and much more.
