"Multiphoton microscopy: a powerful bioimaging technique"

March 12 - 13, 2012
Organizer: Dr. Rachel Grange, Institute of Applied Physics, Jena.

This workshop provided participants with the theoretical and practical knowledge of multiphoton microscopy, as well as its application in vivo and in vitro. Among others, the following questions were discussed: Which are the limits and possibilities of this high-resolution imaging modality, how is it applied to animals, and how is it appropriately used in in vivo experiments? The practical part was designed to provide a hands-on experience at the Carl Zeiss MicroImaging Democenter in Jena.
